Update: “The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) has received an application from Onondaga County for the purchase of the two parcels with their intent to maintain the parcels for public trails.” -from the NYSDOT

The NYSDOT has removed the parcels of land from the public auction scheduled for Dec. 2nd.

Congratulations to the residents of the Town of Geddes and Onondaga for coming together and the local political leaders for quick decisive action.
